Among Top 100 Climate Education Solutions at COP28 Dubai
YLCA Fellowship is a climate education and leadership program that empowers young children to navigate and shape a climate future. Over the last three years, we have delivered a program that consistently believes in children and their potential.
We follow a comprehensive and locally contextualised curriculum focusing on climate science, and the socio-economic impact of climate change.
Learning FOR the Planet, Not Just About It
Climate change isn't a chapter to memorise — it's a crisis this generation will live through. So we don't teach it like one. Every session blends hard science with real skills, so students walk away able to act, not just recite facts at a quiz.
-
Know it. Real climate science and data — not just headlines, not just fear.
-
Feel it. Social-emotional learning that turns anxiety into agency.
-
Do it. A real project, in the real world, before the fellowship ends.

What fellows build

From Idea to Impact
Pick a problem that bothers you. Build a team that believes in the fix. With mentors from across sectors backing every step, your capstone project isn't homework — it's the start of a movement.

The 8-week fellowship is offered at INR 4,500 per student. Our engagement doesn’t end with the fellowship—we continue to provide young people with opportunities to participate, contribute, and lead meaningful climate action through long-term engagement. Financial constraints should not be a barrier; scholarships are available for eligible applicants.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Two sessions will be conducted each week, along with weekly case studies and teamwork sessions. The total duration will be 4 hours including assignments.
